Oh Boy! or Girl!

Yup Yan is preggers again. Do you remember the New Year’s Eve party outfit I posted a couple months back {here} ? Well all the girls we gathered in the kitchen and we went around the room stating what we were hoping for in the upcoming year. A baby was one of the things on my list, I guess it was in God’s plan also. Hubs and I were going to start trying this summer but nature beat us to the punch! I’m so happy I cannot express…. (Even though I’ve been puking my brains out for the past 2 months- thus the lack of posting)

MY CHALLENGE…. I plan on only buying 5 pieces of maternity clothes. Why? Maternity clothes suck! I think I really want to consider becoming a maternity clothing designer. Trust me when I tell you, there aren’t very many options. I gave my self this challenge last week. “I  Yan, pledge to remain as stylish and fabulous during this pregnancy as I would at any other stage in my life.” So the best way to do that I think is to continue to shop where I normally shop and come up with creative ways (putting my sewing machine to good use no doubt) to alter my existing clothing.

What this means for you Dear Reader, is that you will continue to be inspired ( I hope I do this for you guys :) ), and prove to the WORLD that pregnant women CAN HAVE IT ALL. I mean we are caring life after all, a gift from God.

Here is a pic of my little nectarine… My doctor and I come up with fruit to describe the baby’s size. I don’t know how they make anything out of these sonogram pics…. I can’t see a thing! Wonder what this one will be, boy or girl? We are not going to find out until D Day, since we already have one of each. I hope you guys are excited as I am! Going shopping now, YIPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!

  1. Congratulations!! I can’t wait to see what you come up with. FYI Open Cardigans are always and easy transitional piece for preggo. But if I were you I would make sure 4 out of the 5 items are pants, you can always find shirts that will be easy to wear after the bump.
